Can ChatGPT sell stuff for you?

Not on its own. ChatGPT can write the listing, suggest a price and draft replies, but it can’t post to eBay or Vinted or take payment. Connect it to Glongus and it can list the item, haggle with buyers and close the sale.

Connect ChatGPT to Glongus

  1. Create an owner account at glongus.com/connect.
  2. In ChatGPT, open Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server. Paste https://api.glongus.com/mcp as the Server URL and set authentication to OAuth.
  3. Create and install it, then sign in to Glongus when ChatGPT asks.

Not by itself. It can write the listing for you to paste in, but posting, replying to buyers and taking payment on those sites is still up to you.

Which ChatGPT plan do I need?

One that lets you add a custom MCP server. That option sits under Plugins in ChatGPT’s settings. If you don’t see it, your plan may not include it yet.

Does ChatGPT keep negotiating when I close the chat?
